I love this journal! It's well made and so unique! I find it better suited for artistic use than actual journaling, as the pages are heavy and the paper is course. But the book is beautiful, and I'm thrilled with this purchase.
This book is exactly what I was looking for. The deckled paper has minor imperfections, and a grungy yellow tinge. It is the perfect starting point for a Wizard Spellbook, which is exactly what I'm using it for. Overall, I strongly recommend checking this book out if you're shopping for anything remotely similar. I won't take anything away from any other seller, but the quality of this product is extremely sufficient.
I got this journal because I absolutely loved the look of the pages! I use it as an art journal. The color just sinks into the page. Still you have to be careful. I was not disappointed though in fact I love it! You can draw in it but again the eraser will wear away the paper. The markers and the watercolors did not bleed through to the other side, a sharpie will though in some spots so just be aware. All in all I LOVE this journal!
Upon opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised to find my journal wrapped in plastic and accompanied by its own cloth bag. The journal boasts a wonderful leather cover and aged-looking pages. It has become my daily companion for recording my journey, using markers, ink pens, and colored pencils. Writing and drawing in this journal makes me feel like I am truly on an adventurous journey.
With its old-fashioned look, this journal makes an excellent gift for anyone appreciating aesthetic charm. I use it as my sketchbook during hikes and another one for playing D&D. The quality is impressive, as it has withstood the elements during my outdoor adventures.
